To Our NABJ-Chicago Membership:

Your NABJ-Chicago Board of Directors is pleased to announce that NABJ-Chicago is the recipient of a grant from the McCormick Foundation Democracy Program to provide enhanced training opportunities on a monthly basis for our membership.

To best serve the needs of our varied membership under the grant, your organization is embarking on a survey of our members to assess what particular training needs, skills development, topics/issues and other future programming opportunities you would consider most beneficial.

Already on the roster: such trainings as podcasting, videography, photography, developing freelance networks, op-ed writing, resume development, etc.

The grant period runs January 2020 through June 2021, and NABJ-Chicago would like to offer one such training monthly.

But we need your help. Please respond to this survey inquiry with your ideas/recommendations at: survey@nabjchicago.org by Jan. 31, 2020.

Your Board of Directors will tally your responses, share them with the membership, and design the next 18 months of training programming around your specific requests.
