NABJ-CC September Meeting

Chicago’s next election is already in the works. And at Wednesday’s general meeting, NABJ-Chicago will have some stellar folks who know all the ins and outs of being front and center as well as behind the scenes. Former press secretaries for Mayors Sawyer, Daley and Emmanuel will join us. You don’t want to miss out as they talk about the jobs they had and offer career advice.
Panelists include former press secretaries Monroe Anderson (Sawyer administration), Avis Lavelle (Daley administration), Jacquelyn Heard (Daley administration), Tarrah Cooper (Emanuel administration) and Roderick Hawkins (current Dep. Chief of Staff Public Engagement for the Emanuel administration). Board member Cheryl Corley of NPR moderates.
