In this role, you’ll be at the center of an exciting, inspiring and fast-paced environment, collaborating with our team, clients, and external partners. We are looking for a quick-thinking, self-starting, team player who can support our client-facing communications work, including drafting story pitches and press releases, staffing events, supporting thought leadership strategies, developing social media content and more.

Role and Responsibilities:
● Play an active role in designated client teams and participate in client campaign projects ● Help develop strategic, creative plans to help clients achieve their goals
● Draft deliverables for clients and edit deliverables as needed
● Draft social media content for clients and outline visual assets to include with written copy ● Pitch media and build strong reporter relationships
● Demonstrate strong leadership skills
● Manage interpersonal relationships and client interactions
● Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills
● Utilize existing experience working on a team and in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
● Minimum two to four years work experience
● Experience with both traditional communications and social media experience
● Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
● Familiarity and comfort with utilizing various software and web-based tools for work products and communications, inclusive of the Google Office suite, database programs, spreadsheet, and project management packages
● Work two days a week at the office in Chicago
● Evenings and weekends are occasionally required
