WMAQ-TV, NBC Chicago is looking for a multi-platform content producer to work with our team of exceptional journalists to create compelling and engaging stories for our broadcast and digital platforms.

 

• A strong sense of story and compelling visual style
• Superb written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• A desire to play an active role in the editorial process
• Strategic thinking, research, and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with news writing, producing, and desktop editing across multiple platforms and social media
• Ability to work overnight shift, weekends, longer hours, and varying shifts as assigned to meet production and broadcast deadlines
• Deep knowledge of current events and top news stories
