The NBCUniversal station in Chicago is looking for a Sports Anchor/Reporter.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Gathering information on many current sports events, games and personalities and preparing the information for live on-air broadcast presentation.
• Providing anchored sports segment(s) for newscasts.
• Will function in Sports Anchor and Reporter roles, both for on-air and on Station’s web site, or another digital platform as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 4 years television news anchor/reporter experience covering Sports.
• BA or BS in Journalism, Communications or related field.
• This is an AFTRA-union represented position. If not now a member, membership will be required upon hire.

• Must be able to travel and work longer hours with short notice when necessary.
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
