The School of Media and Communication at Bowling Green State University invites applicants for a tenured (associate or full) professor. Candidates should have an established reputation as a researcher and will contribute to the school’s doctoral program in Media and Communication. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in journalism or public relations as well as graduate courses in their areas of expertise. The successful candidate will serve as the undergraduate program coordinator for the journalism/public relations major, providing oversight of academic programs in Journalism/Public Relations and overseeing ACEJMC accreditation and other activities associated with developing and delivering innovative programs in journalism and public relations that prepare students for successful careers.

Position Summary:
The School of Media and Communication at Bowling Green State University invites applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor in sports journalism/public relations. The ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of the sports journalism/media program, teach undergraduate courses in sports journalism/public relations, and teach courses such as ethics, law, video journalism, sports reporting, interactive media, and coding and graduate courses. The ideal candidate will also engage in a successful program of research.
