Membership Information

Full Membership

Working journalists, including reporters, editors, photographers, newsroom managers, etc., who produce, gather, disseminate and distribute news for newspapers, television and radio stations, magazines, wire services, news websites, etc., and full-time freelance journalists. Full Member status may also be granted to former full-time journalists and journalism professors who meet specific criteria.

Associate Membership

Former working journalists, part-time free-lance journalists, journalism educators, and other media-related professionals.

Student Membership

Full-time students at an accredited college or university. Course of study must be in the communications field, preferably journalism.
