About Gift of Hope:
On March 8, city and state officials, medical experts and institutions gathered here for the Chicago Organ Summit, held annually since President Barack Obama’s June 2016 White House call to action for the nation to increase transplant opportunities. Gift of Hope will share its lifesaving work as the federally designated nonprofit that coordinates organ and tissue donation in Illinois and northwest Indiana, and speak on transplant needs impacting minority communities.
