Inaugural MLK Sports Brunch

Keeping the King legacy alive in the sports industry! On Saturday, January 14th from 11 am to 2 pm, NABJ Chicago will host members of Chicago’s Black sports media for brunch and networking at Haymarket Pub & Brewery. Join us as we hear from a panel of local industry experts, including Shakeia Taylor at Chicago Tribune, Jason Goff at NBCSports Chicago, Tony Gill at The Ringer, and Laurence Holmes at 670 The Score, to talk all things journalism and Chicago sports, and how we diversify the industry and bring in more Black voices. Professionals and students are encouraged to attend. Tickets are $55, which includes a hearty brunch entrée from Haymarket kitchens, a beer or mimosa, and a donation to NABJCC’s Scholarship Fund. It is tax deductible, as NABJCCis a 501c3 nonprofit. This event is sponsored by Haymarket Pub and Brewery, 670 the Score and Audacy.
